Qu Yuan, a famous poet of the State of Chu in the Warring States Period, wrote down a verse, which goes: “carrying gems in one's bosom and grasping valuables in one's hands, while being ignorant of whom to share.”(怀瑾握瑜兮，穷不知所示).
